Our Head Instructors are Sensei Robert, LHS, and Sensei Paul, RHS, and Sensei Christian.

Robert Hargreaves, Yondan.  Instructor and Club President.

Sensei Robert graded to Yondan at the CSKA summer camp, July 2008.  Congratulations Senei, it is well deserved.

Sensei Robert has achieved success in competition, and he has international coaching experience.   He was the Seniors Champion in both Kata and Kumite at the AJKA 28th invitational Tournament, Riverside, California 2000.  Sensei Robert has three WSKA championships as an Assistant Coach (2001, 2003, 2007), and one as the Head Coach (2005).

Sensei Robert is a National Canadian Coaching Program certified Level 1 Coach.

Paul Wohlgemuth, Sandan.  Instructor and Club Treasurer.

Sensei Paul has a lenghty competition record, culminating in three appearances as a CSKA team member at the WSKA Championships, (2001, 2003, 2005).  He was the team captain for two of these (2003, 2005).

Sensei Paul is a National Canadian Coaching Program certified Level 2 Coach.

Christian Amizola, Nidan.  Instructor and Club Vice President.

Sensei Christian started Karate training with the Fort McMurray Shotokan Karate club.  He continued to train in Shotokan Karate while attending the University of Toronto, and reached Shodan while in University.  Christian came back to Fort McMurray, complete with his University degree, and again trains at our club.  He achieved his Nidan rank in 2008.  Welcome back to Fort McMurray and our club Christian.
